Since the beginning of the week thousands of Africans including Nigerians, Somalia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mozambique and Malawi, have been attacked. The attacks have seen 5 people killed, hundreds injured and even more shops owned by foreigners looted and destroyed.
The violence was started by black South Africans who are accusing these foreigners for taking jobs from them. Never mind that these foreigner are driven and hardworking setting up their own businesses and not waiting on handouts.
Many have condemned the attack including the South African President Jacob Zuma. Also entertainers like Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, South African rapper – AKA and Alibaba are condemning the prejudiced attacks. Read what they had to say after the jump
