The Brymo vs Chocolate City War Is Far From Over. Both Parties Deadlocked, In Court Today

You may have heard that Brymo left record label Chocolate City in May, while still under contract.

A few weeks ago he released an album with his new team, but by law he is still a Chocolate City artiste, thus the album is technically theirs & he is in breach of his contract, so Chocolate City hit him with a lawsuit, and he went on a twitter rant.

Since then both sides have been in talks, but last night Brymo’s team released a statement which basically said accusing Chocolate City of Bad Faith.

This week was a week of celebrations for raper Ice Prince Zamani, he released his sophomore album “Fire Of Zamani” & on Wednesday October 30, 2013 he turned 27 years old.

His management team and record label, Chocolate City, threw him a lavish party at Spice Bar in Victoria Island, Lagos. Loads of his friends from the entertainment industry like Audu Maikori, CEO Chocolate City Group, Aibee Abidoye, General Manager, Chocolate City Group, Iyanya, Lynxx, Naeto C, Dammy Krane, Chopstix, Loose Kaynon, DJ Sambo, Kid Konnect, DJ Spinall, DJ Obi, Grip Boiz, Toolz, Sexy Steel, Ubi Franklin, Emma Nyra and many others, came through to celebrate with him.

D’Banj, Davido, P-Square, Flavour & Tiwa Savage Win Big at 2012 Channel O Video Music Awards [Pictures]

The 2012 Channel O Music Video Awards, hosted by Ice Prince South African model Bonang Matheba went down last night in Soweto, South Africa and once again Nigerian music dominated. Nigeria artistes bagged awards in 6 categories out of 14…impressive. D’Banj won the ‘Most Gifted Male Video of the Year’ award, while P-Square walked away with the ‘Most Gifted Group/Duo’ award for their collaboration with May D & Akon on ‘Chop my money,’ another Nigerian collaboration that was recognized was Flavour and Tiwa Savage‘s  ‘Oyi’ remix which won the ‘Most Gifted R&B Music Video of the year’ award.

Other winners were Davido for  ‘Most Gifted New Comer of the Year’, BrymO, who won the ‘Most Gifted Pop’ for his hit song ‘Ara‘ and Ice Prince, for ‘Most Gifted Hip Hop Video of the Year.’
