Ghanaian star actress Jackie Appiah rocked this floor length lilac creation with belted embellishments to collect her 2012 National Youth Achievers Award for Performing Arts last week in Accra, Ghana.

She teamed the gown with simple silver accessories and chandelier earrings. She wore her 3kilos of Brazillian/Malaysian weave hair in a loose wave, simple make up and her mega watt smile topped off the look.

ARE YOU FEELING HER STYLE?

New Music | Take It Up – P.R.E. x TuFace

P.R.E. who burst on our radar earlier this year with a couple of bangers is back with another tune. The track is titled Take It Up and features TuFace. A good effort but I personally prefer his previous tracks Tatashe and Bad Oh. Listen to the Leriq produced track below and share your thoughts.

Out Of Order: P-Square accused of having a hand in their mother’s death, being members of the Illuminati

Let me just start off by saying this interview culled from Vanguard Nigeria’s Entertainment section is out of order. It is public knowledge that mother of twin superstars P-Square, Josephine Okoye passed away in July this year following a brief illness. What is however news to me is speculation that the twins somehow had something to do with their mom’s passing (i.e. sacrificing her for fame and riches). SMDH

Wow! What won’t people be accused of for being succesful, these are entertainers who have been hugely succesful for 10 years solid before threir mother’s death, so how does this even make any sense?! Why do Africans always attribute success to some kind of human sacrifice or fetish goings on.

To add to the crazy accusation of them having a hand in their dear mother’s passing, they were also asked if they were members of the illuminati. God save us from this line of questioning o!

What The Heck Is Up with Eva Alordiah’s Face at the 2012 Headies???

No doubt hot rapper Eva Alordiah looked super stunning in her stunning gown on the Yellow Carpet for the 2012 Headies which went down in Lagos on 20th October.

But what the heck is going on with her face? Her makeup to be precise. Is this the look she was going for ( Halloween is round the corner you know…) or is this a case of concealer gone terribly WRONG?

Either way not a good look. EPIC MAKEUP FAIL!

Music | Ashes (In Memory of the ALUU4) – M.I

M.I Abaga today released a track Ashes in memory of the ALUU4 victims I’m sure you heard about. In his words…

“4 young men died at the hands of a lynch mob on the 5th of October 2012. Whether or not their deaths will mean anything, or fade out of our minds as just another meaningless tragedy, is up to us and what we do from here on.

I hope this song captures that message. Nothing would be worse than for a death to mean nothing.

Nothing.”

Music | PsyCo Dikeh (The Gangnam Style Remix) – DJ Klem

Ever wondered what a track by Psy (Gangnam Style), Vic O (Why Evils) and Tonto Dikeh (High) would sound like? Thanks to DJ Klem, the result of that mash-up is PsyCo Dikeh. Just when I thought all creativity in Nigerian music was extinct, DJ Klem does this. Listen below.
