Remember the group Styl-Plus? They plan to stage a comeback to the music industry after years of silence.

In an interview with the Punch, they spoke on their reasons for going off grid and their plans for a comeback even though they are now two in the group as Tunde is no more part of Styl-Plus.

Jidenna Wins Best New Artiste At The 2015 Soul Train Awards



Nigerian-American artist Jidenna, won the best new artist at the  2015 Soul Train Awards which was held on Sunday, 25th of November.

The singer, whose song, Classic Man was at the top of the charts for sometime,  in his acceptance speech, attributed his success to his father who always pushed him to be the best

Adele’s Album “25” Sells Over 2.3 Million Copies In The Weekend Of Its Release In The U.S, Number 1 In All Countries Including Nigeria



Adele’s album, 25 is the first album in nearly half a decade to sell at least 2.3 million copies in it’s first weekend it of release in America.

Industry forecasters are saying that the album could sell up to 2.9 million copies before the end of the week. In the UK, 25 has sold over 538,000 copies. The highly anticipated album is also number one on iTunes Nigeria.

She probably had no idea that this album would go viral the way it has! Talk about a comeback!

Billboard Magazine released their list of The 10 Greatest Rapper of All Time yesterday and left out two key names that hip hop heads feel should have been on it –Tupac Shakur & Kanye West.

Someone else who was very upset with the list was – Snoop Dogg.

Snoop was so disappointed that his former Death Row label mate was left off the widely publicized list, he wrote on Twitter that whoever compiled the list needs a kick in the ass.

Praiz Releases Cover of Adele’s “Hello”, As Vic O Threatens To Drop His Own Cover As Well…



Barely a few days after Omawumi released her reggae infused cover of Adele‘s mega hit song – Hello. Another Nigerian singer Praiz has just dropped his own version of the number one song, he also dropped a crisp black & white video to accompany the single.

It’s a good cover. Personally I don’t think it’s as good as the original or even Omawumi’s version.

Phyno Brings Activities To A Halt At Lagos Island Market As He Shoots Music Video. 



Nigerian rapper, Phyno was in Lagos Island market to shoot a scene for his music video yesterday.

Being a rapper whose music resonates with almost everyone, he was immediately surrounded by a crowd as activities in the market came to a halt as everyone including policemen in the area struggled to catch a glimpse of the rapper.

 Planned in partnership with Access Bank, the one day concert will feature Mavin acts Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Dr. SID, D’Prince, Korede Bello, D’iJa and Reekado Banks.
