Back then a bunch of news outlets stole my story back then & ran with it without giving any credit…hazards of running a Nigerian online publication.
Anyways, fast forward to 22nd July 2014 at the Nigerian Entertainment Industry Health Insurance Convention which took place at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos, the Director-General of NAFDAC, Dr Paul Orhii said at the conference, that the agency would arrest the singer/entrepreneur if they laid their hands on her!
His exact words were
There is this Cameroonian singer that has been going around with a cream…if I get her, she’ll be arrested
He also said Whitenicious causes skin cancer. However this claim has not been proven.
Dencia through her reps has fired back at the DG for his threats of arrest. In a heavily worded statement to NETNG, Dencia and her blasted NAFDAC for their arrest threats
